A little about

Zafar Ajmal, MD

My personal development and leadership journey started in 1997, after I discovered the treasure of self-help literature. Eventually, I completed my residency training at Yale University Hospital and began my first job in 2001.

I awaited "success", but the only success I saw in my life was financial. I began rethinking what the true definition of success was.

What is success?

As I obtained more and more knowledge, my creativity and ideas grew. I discovered my true talents and a passion to help others find their own talents. In 2008, I founded a company called” Healthcare Re-Imagined” and began coaching and training individuals about leadership and professional development.

For the first time in my life, I was confident, since I was living my life authentically. I was finally myself.

In addition to practicing anesthesia, my learning also continues outside of the hospital. I regularly learn about self help, leadership, and personal development. I have been affiliated with many organizations during my journey. These include the following:

  • American Society of Anesthesiologists
  • American College of Physician Leadership
  • Center of Creative Leadership
  • Institute of Coaching
  • Neuro-Leadership Institute
  • Great Books
  • Toastmasters International

My vision is to establish a “Global Leadership Initiative” and touch the lives of individuals and help them become great leaders.

During the last seventeen years, as a physician in America I came across many talented individuals. Many of these people had leadership positions but lacked leadership skills.

I am confident that I can help healthcare professionals and others learn about authentic leadership principles. In addition, I will provide coaching and direction to the staff, enabling them to become the best versions of themselves. This will ultimately lead to the best care for their patients.

My lifelong mission is to help individuals discover their hidden talents and purpose so they can achieve actual success.

I truly believe many people have untapped subliminal abilities which can be cultivated. We have a leadership crisis in our workplaces, homes, and communities. You can take part in remedying this and build your own legacy.

I am inviting you to be part of this journey by assisting in the development of authentic future leaders. I need your help and support to fulfill my life's mission.
